Handmade product sellers routinely underprice their work because there is no fast, accurate way to work out what an item really costs to make — material prices shift, marketplace fees eat into margins, and the hours almost never get tracked. Pricing Vault is a full cost and margin calculator for maker businesses. You define your own materials, products and production stages in a short setup wizard, and from then on the app costs every item against your real numbers.

Setup Wizard — Walks you through your shop rate, your marketplace fee, your materials, your products, and the production stages you actually run. Nothing is hardcoded: whether you turn bowls, pour candles, cut leather or build furniture, the app is shaped around your process.
Material Costing — Keep a library of what you buy and what you pay, in whatever unit you buy in: board feet, metres, sheets, kilograms, or each. Set how much a product consumes and its cost stays right when supplier prices change.
Batch Timers — Time each production stage with a pause-capable timer, log how many pieces you finished, and the app derives the true labour cost per piece from a rolling average of your last five batches. Assembly is timed separately per product.
Margin Calculator — Toggle between marketplace and direct pricing. Marketplace mode subtracts the platform’s whole cut — listing, transaction and payment processing — so you see real net profit per item, not the sticker price. Fee percentages stay editable as rates change.
Stock Auditor — Record what you have on hand, tick the products in an incoming order, and the app tells you whether you can fill it or exactly how much more to buy.
Who It’s For
Etsy sellers, craft market vendors, and small woodworking, candle, jewellery or leather businesses who suspect they are underpricing but cannot prove it. If you have ever finished a batch and wondered whether you actually made money, Pricing Vault turns that guess into a number.
