What is your time worth per hour? Every minute you track gets costed at this rate. If you are not sure, use what you would have to pay someone else to do the work.
Marketplaces take a cut. Enter the total percentage the platform keeps — listing, transaction and payment processing combined. Etsy is around 12% all-in. You can switch between marketplace and direct pricing at any time inside the app.
Add the raw materials you buy, with what you pay per unit. Use whatever unit you actually buy in — board feet, metres, sheets, kilograms, each. Add at least one.
Name the repeated prep jobs you do in batches — cutting, sanding, drilling, pouring, whatever your work involves. The app times each one and works out its true cost per piece from your own last five batches.
“Counted in” is what you count when a batch is finished (strips, pieces, units).
Final assembly is tracked separately, per product — you do not need to add it here.
